Oblong waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Lawrenceville Indians by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 last Saturday.

Ella Jenkins paced Oblong's offense, picking up five kills. Jenkins got some help from Brylee Murray and her ten assists. Layla Krick controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Oblong's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Lawrenceville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season.

Oblong wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against South Knox on the 6th. Lawrenceville has also already played their next matchup (against Marshall), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
