Baseball Recap: Hamilton Takes a Loss

Hamilton suffered their closest defeat since February 21st on Tuesday. They fell just short of the New Site Royals by a score of 4-2. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Royals apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Hamilton has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-8 record this season. As for New Site, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.

While Hamilton had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
