Basketball Game Preview: Johnson Atomsmashers vs. Veterans Warhawks + How To Watch

The Johnson Atomsmashers will be taking part in a tournament against the Veterans Warhawks at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. Johnson is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.4 points per game this season.

Johnson is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They enjoyed a cozy 69-54 win over Southeast Bulloch on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Atomsmashers.

Johnson got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Quentin James out in front who shot 50% from the field to rack up 21 points and five assists. The matchup was James' third in a row with at least 19 points. Another player making a difference was Maurice Knight Jr., who went 8-for-16 en route to 24 points.

They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: Johnson was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Veterans was able to grind out a solid win over Warner Robins on Wednesday, taking the game 65-57.

Johnson's record now sits at 5-6. As for Veterans, their record is now 7-5.
