Central Regional waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They enjoyed a cozy 53-34 win over the Monroe Township Falcons. Given the Golden Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 33rd, while the Falcons are ranked 296th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Central Regional's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Monroe Township, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.
