Sanford has gone a perfect 10-0 against Center recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Mustangs will challenge the Vikings at 11:00 p.m.

Sanford is headed into the contest having just suffered their biggest defeat since October 25, 2024 on Thursday. They came up short against Centauri, falling 3-0. The loss was the Mustangs' first of the season.

While Sanford was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Centauri's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-19, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Center hadn't done well against Dove Creek recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Vikings walked away with a 3-1 win over the Bulldogs.

Having lost for the first time this season, Sanford fell to 10-1. As for Center, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.

Everything went Sanford's way against Center in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as Sanford made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
