Baseball Recap: Colmesneil Takes a Loss

Colmesneil fell victim to Groveton and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 16-0 to the Indians. The Bulldogs' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Colmesneil saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was William Linscomb, who went 1-for-2 with one double. Kaden Medina also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Colmesneil's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Groveton, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-4.

Colmesneil wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 7-1 loss against Hemphill on the 27th. As for Groveton, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 8-0 victory against West Sabine on the 28th.
