Centennial came tearing into Friday's matchup with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.3 goals), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Seguin Cougars by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 4-0 back in January.

Dallas Kunkel and Matthew Harkrider scored both of Centennial's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.

Centennial's victory bumped their record up to 13-4-2. As for Seguin, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Centennial will take on rival Everman at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Seguin is set to face off against their familiar foe Burleson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
