Soccer Recap: Trinity Prep Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Trinity Prep can now relate to. They fell just short of the Master's Academy Eagles by a score of 2-1 on Wednesday. The Saints were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2022.

Trinity Prep's loss dropped their record down to 2-10-3. As for Master's Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season.

Trinity Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Master's Academy will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy at 7:00 p.m. on February 11th. Master's Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.5 goals per game this season.
