There's no place like home for Reading, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They never let the Clark Montessori Cougars get on the board and left with a 15-0 win on Wednesday. Considering the Blue Devils have won 11 contests by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Reading got a massive performance out of Hailey Mowell, who fired off three triples, five RBI, and one run while going 4-for-4. Those three triples gave Mowell a new career-high. Brooke Androne was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Reading kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least ten hits in three consecutive games.
Reading's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-5.
