Volleyball Game Preview: Red Bud Musketeers vs. Carlyle Indians/Lady Indians

The Red Bud Musketeers will challenge the Carlyle Indians/Lady Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Red Bud comes in on 19 and Carlyle on nine.

Red Bud will bounce into Tuesday's matchup after beating Wesclin, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Musketeers came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 2-0 on Thursday.

While Red Bud won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Carlyle earned a 2-0 victory over Sparta on Thursday.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Carlyle was: they took both sets by at least 18 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-7.

Red Bud's win bumped their record up to 25-1. As for Carlyle, their victory bumped their record up to 21-8.

Red Bud came out on top in a nail-biter against Carlyle in their previous meeting back in September, sneaking past 2-1. Do the Musketeers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Indians/Lady Indians turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
