Football Game Recap: Rensselaer vs. Coxsackie-Athens

Rensselaer took an ego-bruising loss against Hoosic Valley last Friday, but they kept their chin up and bounced back on Thursday. Rensselaer walked away with a 27-18 victory over Coxsackie-Athens. The victory was some much needed relief for Rensselaer as it spelled the end of their four-game losing streak.

Rensselaer's win brought them up to 2-6. Coxsackie-Athens' defeat makes it three in a row and drags their record down to 1-7. Both of these squads appear to be finished for the season, as they have no upcoming games scheduled.
