After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Shaker Heights, Lorain was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Oberlin Phoenix with a sharp 7-3 victory. Lorain might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by three goals or more this season.

The win snapped Lorain's losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 5-10-1 record. As for Oberlin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-10-1.

Coming up, Lorain will head out on the road to challenge Mentor at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Oberlin, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Lordstown on the 13th.
