There's no place like home for Pine Plains, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They managed a 62-56 victory over the Spackenkill Spartans on Wednesday. This was a revenge game for the Bombers: when they faced off against the Spartans back in January, they had to take a 57-55 loss.

Spackenkill's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Blythe McQuade, who posted 19 points along with seven rebounds and five steals, and Kyrie Thomas, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and ten boards. McQuade is becoming a predictor of Spackenkill's success: when she posts at least three steals the team is 4-2 (and 6-8 when she doesn't). Kennedy Bowe was another key player, putting up five points.

Pine Plains' record now sits at 13-7. As for Spackenkill, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-10 record this season.

Pine Plains does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Spackenkill, they have already played their next contest, a 56-46 loss against Highland on the 3rd.
