It was a good run, but Glencoe unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Westbrook Christian Warriors by a score of 3-2. If the Yellowjackets were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Warriors when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Glencoe wouldn't go down easily and took Westbrook Christian into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking three-point loss. The final score came out to 26-28, 25-22, 25-19, 15-25, 15-12.

When it comes to explaining why Glencoe lost, don't look at Gracyn Bunt. Despite the final result, she had 20 digs. Riley Helms also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Glencoe's loss dropped their record down to 14-3. As for Westbrook Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season.

Glencoe wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Jacksonville on the 16th. As for Westbrook Christian, they will face off against Ohatchee at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
