Baseball Recap: San Antonio Homeschool Wins Going Away Against John F. Kennedy

The San Antonio HomeSchool Wolverines made easy work of the John F. Kennedy Rockets on Tuesday and carried off a 12-1 win. That looming 12-1 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Wolverines yet this season.

Christian T made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed five innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. T was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base. San Antonio HomeSchool is 6-2-1 when T posts two or more runs, but 6-16 otherwise.

In other batting news, San Antonio HomeSchool got a massive performance out of Matty G, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Those two runs gave G a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Nate H, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

San Antonio HomeSchool always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .611. They are 4-2 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

San Antonio HomeSchool's victory bumped their record up to 12-18-1. As for John F. Kennedy, their loss dropped their record down to 11-13.
