Soccer Recap: Cheyenne Comes Up Short

Cheyenne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Palo Verde Panthers, falling 12-0. While losing is never fun, Cheyenne can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Nevada soccer rankings (they are ranked 73rd, while Palo Verde are ranked 12th).

Cheyenne's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Palo Verde, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-3-1.

Cheyenne does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Palo Verde, they will welcome Sports Leadership & Management at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
