Rock Hill had lost four games straight , but after bumping their record up to 5-9 on Saturday that streak is in the rearview. They had just enough and edged out the Gallia Academy Blue Devils 7-6. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 7-6 on April 9th.

As for Gallia Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-9. The game snapped a strange streak: the last four times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

For Gallia Academy's part, Reagan Skidmore was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run and three runs. That home run marked the first that Skidmore has launched this season.
