Soccer Game Preview: Lubbock vs. Tascosa

The Lubbock Westerners will face off against the Tascosa Rebels at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Lubbock will bounce into Friday's game after beating Caprock, who they had gone 1-6 against in their seven prior meetings. Lubbock walked away with a 3-1 victory over Caprock on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Westerners.

Meanwhile, Tascosa kept a clean sheet against Caprock on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Longhorns by a score of 2-0.

Tessa Fowler and Karina Garcia scored both of Tascosa's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

The win got Tascosa back to even at 2-2-1. As for Lubbock, their victory bumped their record up to 2-5.
