Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Butler). They were the clear victors by a 7-0 margin over the Slippery Rock Rockets on Saturday. The high-scoring effort was just what Butler needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

With the victory, Butler broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-4. As for Slippery Rock, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Butler will head out to challenge Fox Chapel at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Slippery Rock, they will venture away from home to face off against Hickory at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
