Volleyball Recap: Avon Park Extends Home Winning Streak to Seven

There's no place like home for Avon Park, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Haines City Hornets by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. For the Red Devils, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 victory the Hornets walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2023.

Avon Park was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 18-25, 25-20, 25-23.

Despite the defeat, Haines City had strong showings from Arianna Johnson, who had four digs, four blocks, and two aces, and Yolanda Blanco, who had 13 digs.
