Chase Boone was a major factor in Red Springs's victory over Douglas Byrd on Friday. Boone was unstoppable, throwing for 254 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.0 yards per attempt, and also rushing for 40 yards and one TD. Boone is crushing it when it comes to passing touchdowns: he's passed for at least three every time he's taken the field this season.

Boone and Red Springs will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on South Brunswick at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. Boone will face off against Jayden Daniels, the Cougars' star signal caller. With these two excellent players competing for bragging rights, there's bound to be some exciting action on the field.
