Basketball Recap: Fairfax's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Fairfax had to endure an eight-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Lake Braddock Bruins by a score of 50-43 on Tuesday. This was payback for the Lions, who suffered a 56-45 loss the last time these two teams met.

Fairfax's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 4-9. As for Lake Braddock, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.

Fairfax has already played their next game (against Alexandria City), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Lake Braddock will face off against South County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. South County will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Lake Braddock surely won't give up without a fight.
