Football Recap: McHenry Takes a Loss

McHenry lost against Jacobs back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Warriors were dealt a 35-6 defeat at the hands of the Golden Eagles. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Caden DuMelle produced another solid effort rushing for 195 yards and one touchdown while picking up 12.2 yards per carry for Jacobs. Those 195 rushing yards gave DuMelle a new career-high. Michael Cannady also helped out as he racked up 104 rushing yards.

McHenry's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Jacobs, the win also got them back to even at 2-2.

McHenry has already played their next contest, a 43-22 defeat against Prairie Ridge on the 26th. As for Jacobs, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 35-27 victory against Huntley on the 26th.
