Soccer Recap: Western Harnett Takes a Loss

Western Harnett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Harnett Central Trojans, falling 5-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 last Tuesday.

Western Harnett's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Harnett Central, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Coming up, Western Harnett is taking a road trip to square off against Pine Forest at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Western Harnett has given up an average of 4.2 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week. As for Harnett Central, they will face off against Westover at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Harnett Central is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4 goals per game this season.
