Volleyball Game Preview: Waccamaw Warriors vs. Aynor Blue Jackets

The Waccamaw Warriors are taking a road trip to face off against the Aynor Blue Jackets at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

On Tuesday, Waccamaw came up short against Socastee and fell 3-1. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Waccamaw was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Socastee work for it, especially in the third set. The final score came out to 25-21, 19-25, 26-24, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Aynor also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Conway by a score of 3-1. The Blue Jackets haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-18, 19-25, 25-17.

Aynor's loss dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Waccamaw, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-6.

Waccamaw couldn't quite get it done against Aynor when the teams last played two weeks ago as they fell 3-1. Can the Warriors avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
