Sterling is 10-0 against Valley since January of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Sterling Tigers will welcome the Valley Vikings at 7:00 p.m. Valley took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Sterling, who comes in off a win.

On Tuesday, Sterling needed a bit of extra time to put away Eaton. They snuck past the Reds with a 68-63 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Meanwhile, Valley played a tough contest on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by University and fell 80-41. The Vikings were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 51-21.

Sterling will have to contain Seth Kissler as he made an impact in Valley's last game. He posted ten points and five rebounds. Those ten points gave Kissler a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Anthony Soliz, who had six points.

Sterling is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.8 points per game. As for Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-8.

Sterling didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Valley when the teams last played back in January of 2024, but they still walked away with a 73-68 victory. Will Sterling repeat their success, or does Valley have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
