Softball Recap: Madawaska Comes Up Short

Madawaska fell victim to Central Aroostook and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Panthers, falling 15-0. If the Owls were looking for revenge after losing 24-2 to the Panthers when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Madawaska's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Central Aroostook, they pushed their record up to 4-0 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Madawaska is set to challenge their familiar foe Katahdin at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Central Aroostook will take on rival Hodgdon at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
