Bunnell's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Stratford Red Devils as they made off with an 8-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 6-3 two weeks ago.

The result came thanks to Leilani Navarro's shutout, as she gave up just a hit and racked up 15 Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than ten strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Kira Bryant, who went 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Bella Caramanica, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Bunnell hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Stratford struck out 15 times.

Bunnell is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Stratford, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.

Looking ahead, Bunnell will take on New Milford at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The Green Wave will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight. As for Stratford, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 15-8 victory against Weston on the 2nd.
