Riverside barely beat Fabens the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Rangers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Wildcats on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Rangers in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won three in a row.

The victory didn't come easy: Fabens scored at least 20 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-21, 25-21.

Sophia Samaniego paced Riverside's offense, picking up eight kills. Samaniego got some help from Daisy Diaz and her ten assists. Alessandra Gonzalez controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Riverside's win bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Fabens, they now have a losing record of 10-11.
