Sutherland took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-13, 25-17.

Meanwhile, St. Patrick's came up short against Mullen on Tuesday and fell 3-1.

While St. Patrick's ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-19, 18-25, 25-20.

Sutherland's loss dropped their record down to 5-15. As for St. Patrick's, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-11.
