Football Game Preview: Don Lugo Conquistadores vs. Rowland Raiders + How To Watch

The Don Lugo Conquistadores will venture away from home to face off against the Rowland Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Don Lugo has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the matchup with seven straight defeats, while Rowland will come in with nine straight victories.

One reason for the win was Rowland's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. In that department, Frankie Trujillo was the leader with 2.5.

Rowland's win bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Don Lugo, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.

Don Lugo beat Rowland 22-15 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Conquistadores since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
