Softball Recap: Ankeny Centennial Find Success

It was a proper cat-fight when Ankeny Centennial challenged Creston on Friday. The Jaguars walked away with a 6-3 win over the Panthers. The Jaguars haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Ankeny Centennial's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Creston, they moved to 9-3 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Coincidentally, Ankeny Centennial and Creston will both be playing Ames the next time they take the field. The Panthers will head out to face the Little Cyclones at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Jaguars will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
