Softball Recap: Canyon View Comes Up Short

Canyon View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 14-7 to the Needles Mustangs.

Canyon View saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Saide Adams, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. The dominant performance gave Adams a new career-high in RBI. Alina Sluder was another, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Canyon View's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Needles, their record is now 2-3.

Coming up, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when Canyon View Falcons take on Skyline Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Needles, they will challenge Mountain View at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Mountain View is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.8 runs per game this season.
