Football Game Preview: Bullard Knights vs. Edison Tigers + Official Tickets

The Bullard Knights will take on the Edison Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bullard is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games.

On Friday, Bullard made easy work of San Joaquin Memorial and carried off a 35-9 win. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 28-3.

Tyler Franklin produced another solid effort throwing for 266 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 76.5% of his passes, and also punching in one touchdown on the ground. His passing game has become a key predictor of Bullard's success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 110 or higher, but only 2-4 otherwise. A healthy portion of Franklin's aerial production (100 yards to be exact) went to Tyrin Pree.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Edison, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. In a tight game that could have gone either way, they made off with a 29-28 victory over Justin Garza. The win almost wasn't to be: the Tigers were down 21-6 in the third quarter.

Edison's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-7. As for Bullard, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Everything came up roses for Bullard against Edison in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, as the team secured a 45-8 win. Will the Knights repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
