Ian Rider put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in February on Friday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out seven batters over 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). He also tossed no walks, which is notable because St. Edmund is 5-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 11-13 otherwise.
