Mayville barely beat Shoreland Lutheran the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Cardinals put the hurt on the Pacers with a sharp 11-5 win on Monday. Considering the Cardinals have won ten matchups by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Mayville's victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-4. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.9 runs on average over those games. As for Shoreland Lutheran, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-9-1.

Coming up, Mayville will face off against Omro at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games the Foxes have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Shoreland Lutheran, they will head out on the road to take on St. Joseph at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lancers will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Pacers surely won't give up without a fight.
