The Frederick Golden Eagles will take on the Silver Creek Raptors at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Frederick is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.9 runs per game this season.

Frederick is returning to their home field after beating Pueblo County on theirs, despite the fact Pueblo County has dominated at home this season. The Golden Eagles walked away with a 6-2 win over the Hornets on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Golden Eagles.

Elayna Fisher spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on six hits and racked up six Ks.

On the hitting side, Ella Stromberg was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. That's the most hits she has posted since back in August. The team also got some help courtesy of Brealea Stendel, who went 3-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Frederick was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .433. They are a perfect 11-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Silver Creek's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They came up short against Lyons, falling 14-4.

Silver Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Frederick, their victory bumped their record up to 13-5.

Everything went Frederick's way against Silver Creek in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as Frederick made off with a 13-1 win. Will the Golden Eagles repeat their success, or do the Raptors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
