Highland waltzed into their contest on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over the Valencia Jaguars. Give Highland's defense some credit: that's the team's fourth straight shutout.

Their offense was hitting Valencia from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. R. Neal led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Highland's victory bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Valencia, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-13.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Highland will square off against rival St. Pius X at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Valencia is set to face off against their familiar foe Belen at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
