Soccer Recap: Enid Takes a Loss

If Enid was riding high fresh off their 10-0 takedown of Grant on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Plainsmen lost 3-0 to the Jenks Trojans on Thursday. Enid have struggled against Jenks recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Enid's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Jenks, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Enid is set to take on their familiar foe Piedmont at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Jenks will face off against rival Grant at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
