Football Recap: Forest Hills Eastern Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Forest Hills Eastern was the 27-8 winner over Hamilton when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Hawks fell 27-14 to the Hawkeyes on Friday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Hawks came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 92nd, while the Hawkeyes are ranked 204th).

This is the second loss in a row for Forest Hills Eastern and nudges their season record down to 3-3. As for Hamilton, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-4.

Coming up, Forest Hills Eastern will host Spring Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hamilton, they will challenge Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hawkeyes will be up against the Eagles' rather soft defense (which has allowed 30.17 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
