Basketball Recap: Nashua-Plainfield Takes a Loss

Nashua-Plainfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 58-52 heartbreaker at the hands of the West Fork Warhawks. The Huskies were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Warhawks earlier this season, when they won 71-61.

Nashua-Plainfield's loss dropped their record down to 11-9. As for West Fork, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Nashua-Plainfield will venture away from home to take on North Butler at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Nashua-Plainfield is facing North Butler at the right time seeing as North Butler is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for West Fork, they are taking a road trip to face off against Osage at 7:45 p.m. on Monday.
