Preview: Rothsay Tigers vs. Parkers Prairie Panthers
Rothsay is 0-10 against Parkers Prairie since December of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Rothsay Tigers will look to defend their home court against the Parkers Prairie Panthers at 7:15 p.m. Both teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Rothsay and four for Parkers Prairie.
Rothsay suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Thursday. They were outmatched by Hillcrest Lutheran Academy at home and fell 68-38. Rothsay has struggled against Hillcrest Lutheran Academy recently, as their match on Thursday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Parkers Prairie was beaten by Upsala 68-35 on Friday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Parkers Prairie has scored all season.
Rothsay's defeat was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 2-7. As for Parkers Prairie, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-6.
Rothsay was taken down by Parkers Prairie 78-45 in their previous matchup back in February of 2023. Can Rothsay avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
