Baseball Recap: Kennedy Catholic Gets the Win

It may have taken ten innings to finish the job, but Kennedy Catholic ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They skirted past the Mt. Rainier Rams 7-6. The Lancers haven't had any issues with the Rams recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

The team relied heavily on Liam Rhoads, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with three RBI. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ka'Ipo Matsushima, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

Kennedy Catholic's win bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Mt. Rainier, they dropped their record down to 8-7 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home.
