Soccer Recap: Valley Falls to Holtville in First Game of Season

Valley unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Holtville Bulldogs on Tuesday, falling 4-1. The Rams have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

The win made it two in a row for Holtville and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Valley is headed away from home for the first time to face off against Park Crossing at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Holtville, they will take on Benjamin Russell at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
