Basketball Game Preview: Jenkins County War Eagles vs. Edmund Burke Academy Spartans

The Jenkins County War Eagles will square off against the Edmund Burke Academy Spartans at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.

On Monday, Jenkins County came up short against Glascock County and fell 40-33.

Jenkins County's defeat came about despite a quality game from Joyin Roberson, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and 15 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kimora Hemphill, who posted 11 points.

Meanwhile, in a tight game that could have gone either way, Edmund Burke Academy made off with a 52-51 victory over Piedmont Academy. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Spartans.

Jenkins County's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Edmund Burke Academy, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.
