Baseball Game Preview: Harbor Pirates vs. Everett Alvarez Eagles

The Harbor Pirates will take on the Everett Alvarez Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Everett Alvarez took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Harbor, who comes in off a win.

Harbor came out on top against Scotts Valley on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run third inning. The Pirates skirted past the Falcons 8-6.

Meanwhile, Everett Alvarez was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-4 heartbreaker at the hands of Alisal.

Everett Alvarez saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Buddy Torres, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Everett Alvarez's defeat dropped their record down to 4-22. As for Harbor, their win bumped their record up to 16-9.

Harbor suffered a grim 10-0 defeat to Everett Alvarez in their previous meeting back in March of 2018. Can the Pirates avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
