Basketball Game Preview: Madison/Hamilton Bulldogs vs. Little River Redskins

The Madison/Hamilton Bulldogs will face off against the Little River Redskins at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Madison/Hamilton is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They strolled past Goessel with points to spare, taking the game 47-32. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Bulldogs as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Little River put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Central 77-12. Given the Redskins' advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 14th, while the Raiders are ranked 289th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Madison/Hamilton better keep an eye on Arika Feldman. She was instrumental in Little River's win, going 10-for-13 from beyond the arc to rack up 38 points and four steals. Thanks to that strong game, Feldman now owns an excellent 45.1% field goal percentage. The team also got some help courtesy of Adelynne Strecker, who posted four points in addition to nine assists and eight steals.

Little River's victory was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 19-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 20.8 points on average over those games. As for Madison/Hamilton, their win bumped their record up to 6-4.
