Volleyball Recap: Encina Takes a Loss

Encina's tournament run continued when they took on Antelope on Saturday. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Titans by a score of 2-1.

Nate Wroten paced Encina's offense, picking up 19 kills. Wroten got some help from Yoel Calleja and his 27 assists.

Encina's defeat dropped their record down to 22-9. As for Antelope, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 14-11 record.

Looking ahead, Encina will take on John Adams Academy Rsvl/Lin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Patriots will roll in looking for their 14th straight victory, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight. As for Antelope, they will challenge Ben Holt College Prep Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Bobcats will roll in looking for their 23rd straight win, something the Titans surely won't give up without a fight.
