Alpaugh's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They came out on top against the Riverdale Christian Ambassadors by a score of 3-1. The Buffalos haven't had any issues with the Ambassadors recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

While Alpaugh might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Riverdale Christian scored at least 21 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 21-25, 25-21, 26-24.

Alpaugh's win bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Riverdale Christian, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Looking ahead, Alpaugh will venture away from home to square off against Maricopa at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Riverdale Christian, they will host Wonderful College Prep Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
