Football Recap: Douglass Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Douglass's offense. They had to suffer through a 34-0 loss at the hands of the Raleigh-Egypt Pharaohs. The Red Devils have struggled against the Pharaohs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Douglass' loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Raleigh-Egypt, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Douglass will square off against Peabody at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Red Devils will need to watch out since the Golden Tide have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Raleigh-Egypt, they will venture away from home to face off against Hamilton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
